Divan Beds & Assembly
Q: Do you offer assembly services?
A: Yes, assembly is available for Divan beds only up to 5FT King size. Flat-packed products (including Divan Ottomans) are self-assembled after delivery.
Q: Does a Divan bed come assembled?
A: Small Single (2FT6) & Single (3FT): Base delivered in one piece. Sizes above Single: Base delivered in two parts. Headboard and castors/gliders require attaching after delivery.
Q: What is the net weight of the Divan base?
A: Base without storage: approx. 40 kg. Base with drawers: approx. 50 kg.
Q: How much weight can a Divan bed hold?
A: Divan beds are designed to support 25–30 stone (158–190 kg) per side, suitable for most users.
Q: What is the storage capacity of the drawers in a Divan bed?
A: The storage capacity is approx. 60 cm (L) x 40 cm (W) x 25 cm (D) per drawer, perfect for bedding, clothing, or essentials.
Q: What is the total height of a Divan bed including the headboard?
A: The total height is approx. 100 cm (floor to top of headboard).
Q: What is the height of the Divan base (excluding headboard)?
A: The height of the Divan base is approx. 35 cm / 12 inches.
Delivery & Orders
- Q1: Do you offer next-day delivery?
A1: Yes. Orders placed before 12 pm (UK time) are eligible for next-day delivery. Orders placed after 12 pm cannot be processed in time for next-day service. - Q2: Do we collect old beds or mattresses?
A2: We do not provide disposal services for old beds or mattresses that were not purchased from Beds.co.uk. For assistance, contact your local council for collection and disposal. - Q3: I placed an order but haven’t received confirmation. What should I do?
A3: Orders usually take 30–40 minutes to process before appearing in our system. Once processed, you’ll receive an automated email with a link to choose your delivery date.

Assembly Help
Q1: The gas pistons are not working after assembly. What should I do?
A1: Once the piston is attached to the arm and bed frame, ensure the bed is in the lifted position.
To activate:
Hold both sides of the bed and apply even pressure. Push down firmly until you hear a click sound – this confirms activation.
